April 27th, 2012 Asen At this point, we are starting to pencil in a release of the DROID Incredible 4G LTE some time during the next couple of weeks. A finished build of the device has been photo’d a handful of times, the DroidDoes.com page for it went live earlier in the week, and now we are seeing cases from players like Otterbox arrive in retail packaging. We had a targeted date at one point that referred to April 26 as being the day, but with that being yesterday and no phone in sight, we will focus on next week or the one after.

Google Drive Shows Up on Developer’s Phone During Google+ Hangout, Video Immediately Pulled
April 20th, 2012 Asen Google Drive – Google’s Dropbox-ish cloud storage service – made its first public appearance today through an Android developers Hangout on Google+. While showing off the sharing capabilities of an app in review, the option to share with “Drive” was included in the list. The triangular logo matches the one that we have seen leaked in the past, giving a bit of strength to the rumor that this service could launch next week.

April 20th, 2012 Asen Yesterday we reported that the HTC Incredible 2 had hit “out of stock” status in Verizon’s store, but one of our readers noticed today that the device is gone completely. If you search for it, you won’t find a sales page and are instead left with support and device over sections. We know that the Incredible 4G is essentially ready for prime time (pictures of it), so this move by Big Red is not all that surprising.

April 19th, 2012 Asen The LG Spectrum will receive a substantial update in the coming weeks as build VS920ZV5. After updating, the phone will run Android 2.3.6, have Google Search set to default for “a better user experience,” freshly polished bloatware (VZ Nav, NFL Mobile, VCAST Apps, etc.), and a whole bunch of other enhancements which you can read about in the image above. The Spectrum seems to have been forgotten about for the most part, but if you are in need of a smartphone with a beautiful screen, decent camera, and 4G LTE for a reasonable price, it’s worth a look.

April 17th, 2012 Asen HTC had a rough ending to 2011, so to kick off their 2012, they released the One Series of Android phones, including the flagship One X which we are about to dive deep into. With a new outlook on design, a less-intrusive take on Android skinning, and a focus on impressive hardware, this phone is one to “ooh” and “aww” over on paper and in pictures. There are few competitors that have produced phones in the last 12 months that can match the overall package of the One X, however, one question remains – is this phone capable of bringing HTC back from a dark and dreary place and to the forefront of the Android race once again?
